I'm gonna start something up again.
Don't have a decent camera at the moment but that will hopefully soon change.
for now it will be a blog of travels, thoughts and feelings? and people along the way.

So last nights storm woke me up. The thunder was like natures bass shaking the whole house at the farm. My mind was racing right off. Lightning flashes of bikes, girls, flowing some jumps with style, girls, spinning out cranks on a fixie and keeping cadence, and oh yeah girls. All to some fat beats.

I couldn't get back to sleep mind in full sprint and all so layed there and wrote about it in fact ^this. Now I realize it is all going happen starting now.

Bikes, beats, broads (brawds haha)

From TRP's Mini Ramp right now to Hip Hop Night at the Elks in Ann Arbor.

Then tomorrow (Friday) Critical Mass in Detroit and after party with roller sprint races where I defend last months win and get down to a DJ pumping out synthpop dance music that i am looking forward to and maybe stopping at The Works to dance till dawn.

Saturday starts out with picking up a new toy in trade for one I have carrying a while now ;]
then THUNDERDROME.com velo races of all kinds of things. bicycles, motor bikes, go carts and basically anything on wheels but smaller than a sport bike. I'll be shredding the MTB for a change. with the after party at The Velvet Touch.

Working on stuff

Dance Party Fisheye photos are being worked on. Sean Miksys traded me a hi-res scanner for a digital camera kit for a little while. I be scanning all kinds of stuff. I found lots of negatives and slides I might put up. I've been trying to get my computer to crash latley by having tons of huge files open at the same time, along with iTunes, ripping movies, creating HDRS and uploading photographs. It has worked a couple of times, causeing me to lose hours of work on those huge files. talking like 100mb+ photos and scans. You can never have enough memory. I have two gigs of RAM (maxed out) in my MacBook Pro and I still had to borrow my sisters MacBook to work on while the other was processing files. Multi tasking is exausting. time for sleep. feels like all I do is study now. and i'm not even enrolled in school. at least I am productive.

TRP Lights Out Jam

Well I used a song in a video for TRP's Mini Ramp Jam, "Lights Out" by Mason Proper. What do ya know it happened. The power was turned off because the bill was late. VeteranBMX threw a little fundraiser with help of some generators, a couple of 500w lights, a grill, and some supportive locals.

I love this place as many others do so please show your support and help keep TRP open for as long as we shall live. It has already outlasted almost all of the indoor skateparks in the Midwest it can continue to do so. We live in hard times, we need somewhere to go.

Photographs are large and have captions so scroll slow, i didn't feel like reducing the quality or size.

NOTE: I am not going to watermark any of my photos yet but I ask that you give credit if you use them. If not you will be asked nicely once to take it down, and I won't take anymore of you (and I'll have to spend more time designing a watermark and shopping it on my photos, which I would rather spend more time on the art part of it all) Plus labels take away from the photo.

ALSO donations are always welcome as photography is alot of work, very expensive, and time consuming (just editing these photos and blog I clocked around 6 hours, not to mention the time I took to learn this stuff, setup the photos and take them) My work isn't free to me but I make it free to you favor for favor.

I was assessing to situation of using flash judging off of the use by others while I was riding and had to figure out a way to use it without blinding people like everyone else.

I've tried this once before but lost interest. I think I had the wrong approach. Here's what's been going on.

Cool little town on a river. Go check it, spend money, go to the pool hall on the corner and talk to the bartender, she's into nude photography so flash her if you feel the need. I also hear you can watch banks get robbed from the front window and people get beat down. Also note stripper pole and backroom ramps.
